YOUR NEW CHALLENGE

In this position (full-time and part-time possible) you will work at our “newly acquired” location in Roye, France, as well have responsibility for activites at a connected location in Gent/Belgium. You will be in charge for the financial management and analysis of the business (including KPIs), month-end closing, the implementation of planning and forecasting processes, the support of the inventory steering and investment process, as well as a variety of business analyses supporting the operational and group management decisions. In this position you will also work closely with the controlling colleagues at other European locations of PLIXXENT. You will be trained in detail, you will get to know the existing controlling instruments and key figures and, in coordination with colleagues from other PLIXXENT locations, you will constantly develop them further. You will have the following responsibilities:

• Operational business partner for the management team in the financial and operational management of the business (including Operations, Supply Chain, Sales) using KPIs and (ad hoc) analyses on request.
• Handling the monthly closing process together with accounting colleagues
• Supporting the completion of the annual and monthly reporting in accordance with the Group's IFRS accounting guidelines and local GAAP.
• Planning and execution of budget and forecasting processes
• Preparation of deviation analyzes for all departments, but especially in the area of Operations, Supply Chain and Sales
• Monitoring inventory and reviewing investment projects at the locations
• Coordinate external tax advisor in order to ensure tax compliant reporting in France and Belgium and upload monthly/quarterly declarations related to VAT supported by internal VAT specialist.

YOUR COMPETENCIES

• Successfully completed studies in Business Administration or comparable educational degree (eg. accounting).
• Some’ experience in an accounting and/or controlling position, where an experience in a distribution or a (chemical) manufacturing company with international/cross-border business transactions and matrix organization is considered to be a plus.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• First experience with Navision or SAP FI/CO, as well asBI systems is a plus.
• Analytical thinking skills and a solution oriented and structured way of working.
• Attitude of taking ownership and drive change processes
• Strong team player with hands-on mentality, flexibility, pro-activeness and good communication skills.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written in French and English.
• Willigness and capability to travel to the Belgium site (close to Gent) several times a month
