YOUR NEW CHALLENGE

As Account Manager (m/f/d), located in Tarragona/Spain and reporting to the regional Head of Sales South, you have the following responsibilities:

 

  • Define Business Development strategies for the acquisition of new customers
  • Focus on market research, prospection and first contact with qualified leads
  • Develop new business with new customers 
  • Develop business at assigned current customers
  • Negotiations of appropriate technical and commercial propositions based on the whole Plixxent Product Portfolio
  • In coordination with the R&D team, provide technical support and troubleshooting to customers when needed
  • Test and homologate Plixxent Polyurethane Systems at the customer production site
  • Being the contact for customer technically and commercially and build a value-added relationship
  • Work closely together with the rest of the sals team to leverage market and technical knowledge
  • Comply with the Integrated management system (quality, environment, safety) regulations
  • Cover the colleagues ‘department duties in case of absences (illness, holidays ...)

 

KPI

  • # of new leads
  • # of business development projects
  • # of new customers
  • Additional sales volume and net sales at new customers

 

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING WITH YOU

Qualifications and experience

  • Technical education in the fields of chemistry, engineering or industrial
  • Fluency in English and Spanish. Portuguese will be a plus
  • Previous experience of at least 5 years with sales of technical products
  • Flexible to travel
